Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given his go ahead nod to feature in one of the important roles in the Bollywood’s remake of super hit film Ko (Rangam in Telugu). Prakash Jha is set to direct this remake. The film is titled Satyagraha. As of now, Prakash Jha is working on the script and making some nativity changes to suit the sensibilities of Bollywood audience.
Prakash Jha who is capable of making movies with underlying social message and commercial elements is certainly going to taste a big success with this remake, claims a Bollywood trade analyst. Rangam offers a gripping screenplay with superb story line. The movie is a runaway hit in both Tamil and Telugu languages.Jeeva and Karthika have played the leading roles, while KV Anand is the director.
Bollywood top heroine Katrina Kaif starred in two Telugu films at the beginning of her career. After Malliswari and Allari Pidugushe found stardom in Bollywood and stayed away from south cinema. Efforts are on to bring her to South yet again, but the actress has been denying all.
Recently a big production house, that is making a film with one of the superstars of Telugu cinema, tried to rope her in for an item song. They have offered her more than a crore to do that song, but Katrina said firm no to do an item song in a Telugu film.
Even Tamil producers have been trying their best to rope the country’s best heroine in some or the other role, but Katrina doesn’t want to get away from Bollywood at this juncture. Her craze has further increased after the super success of Chikni Chameli song from Agneepath.
Pakistani Actress, Veena Malik who shot to fame following a stint in Reality show, Bigg Boss’s last season is currently shooting for a 3D horror movie. The film is yet untitled. The 35-year old is shooting for the movie in a jungle in Southern India. The film is directed by Telugu film maker Hemant Madhukar.
Veena sparked speculations in her recent media interaction when she stated,”Ra.Oneis just shot in 2D and later transformed in 3D, whereas my film is shot originally in 3D”. She further adds that it’s a bit time consuming process. She is playing the ‘thriller’ as well as ‘horror’ element of the film. Veena also admits that it is very hard to shoot in the Jungle where she has been deprived of luxuries. Veena, unaware of the fact that Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Haunted’ is the first movie shot originally in 3D in Bollywood admits that her untitled movie is the first movie in the Bollywood which is shot in 3D.
Veena will be next seen in another NDTV’s Reality show,’Swayamvar’.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who is doing movies at fast pace is currently busy shooting for his Pongal release Nippu. The film will hit the screens on January 12. It is learnt that Bollywood production house Tips Films has acquired the remake rights of Ravi Teja starrer Don Seenu for a whopping price. The producers are keeping the details of the film secretly and we can expect an official announcement soon.
According to our sources, Abhishek Bachchan is likely to act as hero in this remake. A search for the heroine is on already and we will get the details once everything is finalised. In Don Seenu, Ravi Teja enactsAmitabh Bachchan to the fullest and even delivered dialogues like him. The film had a decent run at box-office and a hit status was awarded by the audience.
Now-a-days Bollywood heroes and production houses are showing a lot of interest to remake South Indian and especially Tollywood films. Among them are Pokiri, Ready, Dhee,Vikramarkudu and Kick.
Richa Gangopadhyaya is all set to make debut in Bollywood. Richa made her Tollywood debut with Leader and later starred in films like Nagavalli and Mirapakaya. Right now she is busy in Tamil cinema, where two of her films are slated for release in November.
Richa’s Mayakkam Enna and Osthemovies will release in November and if one of the films clicks, she will definitely get the star status in Kollywood. Now the big news about her is, Richa is going to make Bollywood debut soon with a film in which Ameesha Patel will play the negative role.
Ameesha is also the producer of the said film. It is the remake of a Tamil hit Thiruttu Payale. Director Susi Ganesan who directed the original will direct the Hindi version too. Neil Nitin Mukesh is the hero in it.

Bollywood badshah, king khan Sharukh high budget movie Ra One is gearing up for Diwali release. SRK is dubbing this film in Telugu and Tamil as the film’s span is big and the plot is considered as universal. This film will be released simultaneously in all the three languages.
Few films of Shahrukh Khan were dubbed in Telugu in the past and DDLJ fared well in Telugu too. SRK will expect Ra One to do the same. Recently released audio of this film is creating sensation. Chammak Challo and Its criminal tracks are rocking the charts.
Latest news is that Rajinikanth is doing a cameo in this film. He will appear in a fight sequence which will be shot on 4th of October. Ra One is also on the lines of Rajinikanth’s Robo and it would be fitting to have the superstar in it. His presence would do wonders to the Telugu and Tamil versions of Ra One.

Pawan Kalyan, who is busy in wrapping up the balance work of his current film, tentatively titled Kaali aka Shadow, is looking forward to kick start the work of Gabbar Singh. This is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. Harish Shankar is directing this film.
The search for the villain in Gabbar Singh is still on. They have approached Sonu Sood, who played the villain role in the original. But Sonu is not interested to repeat the same act in Telugu. He is already doing same role in Tamil remake of Dabangg. Titled Osthi in Tamil it stars Simbu in the lead.
Sood is known for doing different roles in Tollywood. He doesn’t want to do a regular villain role after being recognized for his performance in Arundhati and Kandireega. Sonu said sorry to Pawan Kalyan and wished to act with him in the near future.
