Director Ram Gopal Varma’s latest production Bezawada has opened to divide talk. The first day collections of the movie are quite decent in territories like Krishna, Guntur, and Vishakhapatnam. The film received very average collection in crucial Nizam and Ceded areas. As per reports, the film has collected Rs 2.18 crore on its opening day has brought smiles to its makers.
The film based on the local gang wars of Vijayawada was directed by Vivek Krishna.Amala Paul is the leading lady. The roles essayed by Mukul Dev and Abhimanyu Singh are said to be the highlights of the film.
Right now, the film is carrying below average talk and the trade pundits are predicting average first week collections across.
Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s next release Bejawada has cleared the censor formalities yesterday. The film is surrounded with lot of controversies and even the censor board members have suggested 20 major cuts to its makers till yesterday. However, the film has gone past all the things and received A certificate yesterday evening. The film has Amala Paul as female lead. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Abhimanyu Singh, Subhalekha Sudhakar, etc are playing important roles.
Vivek Krishna, the protege of Ram Gopal Varma is turning director with this film. The film is produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru and Ram Gopal Varma. The film is set to release on December 1 worldwide with decent number of prints.
Akkineni Naga Chaitanya who fails to score a career turning hit with Dhada is back again with Bezawada. The movie is based on local gang wars between two groups in Vijayawada. The movie offers nail biting action episodes and lot of violence. Amala Paul is paired opposite Naga Chaitanya. The audio of the film released recently is slowly getting positive buzz.
Buzz is that Bangalore based Venkatadri Films has bagged the theatrical rights of the film for Rs 80lakhs for entire Karnataka region. This is a new record among Naga Chaitanya films in Karnataka. Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are the producers. The film is slated for release on November 23.
Ram Gopal Varma who is making most controversial film Bezawada is facing music from particular section of people. RGV told that he is getting threatening calls and abusive messages from them and indeed they are asking him to screen premiere of the film.
RGV went on clarifying mode and told that this movie is based on a fiction story and it does not resemble any person. He also told that his friend Lagadapati Rajagopal has requested him to change the movie title from Bezawada Rowdilu to Bezawada.
RGV said that the song in this movie is not aimed at a particular caste and requested the people to treat it like any other song.
On the other hand, Vangaveeti Radha quashed the rumors of threatening calls made by his men to RGV and he also told that he never ever called RGV and asked to screen a premiere. “There is no need for me to do all these things”, he said.

Naga Chaitanya’s next film Bezawada Rowdeelu is currently shooting in and around Vijayawada. The movie has completed 50% of its shoot and then there would be another major schedule in which they will wrap up the talkie portion.
This film is slated for release on Dussera. Preetika Rao is pairing up with Naga Chaitanya in this movie. Vivek Krishna is making directorial debut with Bezawada Rowdeelu and Ram Gopal Varma is the creative head and producer of this film. Koneru Kiran Kumar is producing the movie under Shreya Productions banner.
Naga Chaitanya's 'Bezawada Rowdeelu' was stopped shooting at kothapeta in Guntur by the Traffic Police. Actually this craziest project will be shooted in Vijayawada, but the title 'Bezawada Rowdeelu' made into controversy. So this was shifted to Guntur to shoot the chase on Naga Chaitanya on Tuesday.
The controversies which got more curiosity over this project and made heavy crowded over the streets of Guntur. Due to the traffic problems, Traffic police stopped the shooting of the film eventhough they got permission from SP A.Ravichandra.

RGV pulled of a publicity stunt by conducting Santhi Homam on Friday. If the film’s shoot is not possible in Vijayawada, then they will do the shooting in Guntur says the buzz. Naga Chaitanya is playing the protagonist in this film and it is being directed by Vivek Krishna
