Most of the big releases are coming for Dussera to cash on the nine day holiday period. Few films are avoiding the crowded Dussera and coming for Diwali. But that doesn’t seem to be a safe period to release small or medium budget movies as few Tamil dubbed films are lined up for Diwali release.
Two big Tamil films Nanban, directed by Shankar and Suriya’s Ezham Arivu are coming for Diwali. Both these films are carrying high expectations and are certain to have thumping opening in Telugu for various reasons.
Nanban and Ezham Arivu will have a wide release which will leave no space for straight Telugu releases. Tollywood producers are pressurizing the Government to take action against dubbed movies before these films release in Telugu. We have to wait and see if that happens within such a short period.
