Combi again with Gundello Godaari

Lakshmi Manchu’s latest production Gundello Godari shooting has started few days ago. This film has Aadi Pinisetty and Taapsee playing the lead roles and Lakshmi Manchu is doing a key role. Sandeep Kishan of Prasthanam fame is also cast in an important role.

Gundello Godari is Love Adventure packed movie based on 1986 floods. Kumar Nagendra is directing this film and MaestroIlayaraja is composing music. First schedule of this film wraps on January 7. Film is slated for release in May.

Lakshmi Manchu and the team have been working for over a year on Gundello godari script. Lakshmi is excited with the script shaped up.

Lakshmi no to Kamal

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna barely two films old got a very big offer to act in Kamal Hassan’s dream project Vishwaroopam. But, the actress turned down the offer citing lack of dates and created sensation by saying no to a star like Kamal Hassan.

The actual reason behind her denial is Kamal has offered her a vamp role in his film where in the character demands her to show some ooze and oomph factor and also offers minimal value in the film. This didn’t go well with the Manchu lady and declined the offer. This seems to be a bit frustrating for Kamal as he is scratching his head to finalise the female leads in his film.

Lakshmi Manchu‘s last film Dongala Mutha is a dud at box-office. She is currently busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film Department directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

Prematho Mee Laxmi - Laxmi Prasanna

Lakshmi Machu daughter of Mohan Babu will host a talk show on ETV titled ‘Prematho Mee Lakshmi’. She was guest in several television series.
Filmmaking has always been my passion, says Lakshmi who holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Oklahoma City University.
She is producing a musical film ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ directed by K Raghavendra Rao.
