Puri's voice Over in Solo
Despite being very busy with his new film Business Man, star director Puri Jagannadh has lent his voice for Nara Rohit’s new film Solo. The film is hitting the screens today with lot of expectations. Solo is directed by Puri’s protege Parasuram. This is his third film after Yuvatha andAnjaneyulu. Earlier, Puri Jagannadh has lent his voice for Yuvatha and the film had a decent run at box-office.
Now, the director of this film wants to repeat the same magic with Solo too. Hence, he requested Puri for his voice over and the ace director immediately agreed for it. We have to wait and see whether Puri’s magic voice brings much needed break to Parasuram or not. Stay tuned for more updates.
Puri Jagannad with Aadi
Well we all know Puri Jagannadh as director, producer, and dialogue writer but there is another hidden talent in this director’s profile. It is learnt that Puri Jagannadh is going to don a guest role in Sai Kumar’s son Aadi new film Lovely. The shooting of the film is going on at rapid pace.
Debutants Shanvi and Anchal are playing female leads. The film was launched on this month 22nd at Ramanaidu Studios. B Jayais directing this love story under RJ Movies banner produced by her husband and Super Hit magazine owner BA Raju. RR Movie Makers are presenting this film.
The makers are planning to release this film for Pongal. We have to wait and watch what magic actor Puri creates on screen.
New Ntr in Puri's Film
NTR Jr and Puri Jagannadh are teaming up again for a new movie that will be produced by Bandla Ganesh on Parameshwara Arts banner. This film will hit the floors in next April. Ganesh Babu who produced Theen Maar, Anjaneyulu is currently producing Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan.
Puri and Jr NTR have been planning to do a film again after their first film Andhrawala ended up as a disaster. But it took so many years for this combo to come back again. Puri Jagannadh will finish off The Businessman work before he starts working on this film.
Puri narrated a single line story to NTR and he liked it very much. Puri says that this is a love story and we will see a new NTR in it. The characterization of NTR will be unique, he told.

Puri's I HATE YOU
One more former associate of director Puri Jagannadh is making debut as a director. Sathya who worked in the direction department of Puri is turning director with the movie titled I hate You. A newcomer Jayanth is roped into play the lead role.Although the title of this film is ‘I Hate You’ it is full of love, says the director. Jayanth, the lead man of this film possess good looks and underwent training as an actor in London. The director says that this film requires a newcomer and Jayanth perfectly fits the bill.
Pandem Satyadeep Reddy is the producer of this film. Only Parasuram of Yuvatha fameand Meher Ramesh made an impression among the directors who assisted Puri in the past. We have to see if Sathya to makes his Guru proud or not?
NTR with Andhrawaala Director
Puri Jagannadh was one of the leading directors at the time when NTR Jr requested to do a film with him. Puri obliged and the result was something NTR wouldn’t have expected in his worst possible nightmare. Puri Jagannadh failed to deliver the goods for once and the result was a terrible disaster called Andhrawala.
From then on Puri has been looking to compensate the loss for NTR. Despite with both the parties willing to team up again, second film in their combo didn’t work out till date. The latest buzz from film nagar says that they are finally teaming up.
An official announcement would be made soon regarding this film very soon. Hope Puri gets it right this time to make NTR happy.
Puri with Ganesh Babu
Producer Ganesh Babu expected Theen Maar movie starring Pawan Kalyan to be a blockbuster hit. However, it turned out to be a nightmare for the buyers. With his first two productions failing to fulfill the buyers Ganesh Babu now needs to satisfy them with his next movies.
Pawan Kalyan gave him the chance to produce Gabbar Singh as compensation. Only time will tell if it is worthy enough to be a big hit to recover Theen Maar losses. If that doesn’t happen, Ganesh Babu has other plans. He is producing one movie with Puri Jagannadh soon.
A star hero will feature in this film. Buzz says that Raviteja will play the lead and the movie is Idiot 2. Ganesh Babu is also in talks with NTR and Srinu Vytla too.
IDIOT-2 By Ravi Teja & Puri
Idiot is the film which made Raviteja a big star overnight. Before that movie Puri Jagannadh has made Itlu Sravani Subramanyam with Ravi in the lead. Although it was a successful film, it didn’t give any kick to Raviteja’s career. But Idiot has made him a star.
Puri Jagannadh’s trademark characterization has made the ‘Idiot’ character to win over the masses and even today it is the favorite film for most of Raviteja fans. Now Puri Jagannadh is penning another script with the same character. Puri says that it is Idiot 2, a sequel to the hugely successful Idiot.
Raviteja will play the lead in Idiot 2. Puri Jagannadh will produce this film on his own banner apart from directing it. More details will be revealed later.
Bbuddah More Collections
Amitabh Bachchan’s film Bbuddah will enter into comfort zone within the first week as per the trends. This film was made at a very reasonable budget of 10.5 crore rupees. The total investment was around seventeen crore which includes Publicity and other things.
Bbuddah recovered seventy five percent of total investment prior to release as per Big B. So it has to recover around four crores to make it to the profit zone. The first day collections in India is reported to be 1.91 crore nett.
Despite opening on a low note at the box office Buddha Hoga Tera Baap should make profits by the first weekend. However, the film didn’t live up to the hype as far as the opening collections are concerned.

Ciranjeevi's Next Film with Puri Jagganadh
Chiranjeevi stated that he would rethink about doing that one last film. Puri Jagannadh announced that he is ready to direct 150th film for which Chiranjeevi reacted positively. Ram Gopal Varma who is also on that stage said that he would supervise that project and make Chiranjeevi to do 151st film under his direction.
RGV is long waiting to do Dora – The Lord movie with Chiranjeevi in the lead. Chiru didn’t give any word about doing RGV’s film though.
Ravi Teja on Hat-trick
Raviteja and Puri Jagannadh combination is one of the craziest ever combinations of Telugu cinema. It was Puri who made a star out of Raviteja with a hat-trick of hits, Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Idiot and Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammai. Later they were teamed up for Neninthe that fetched a Nandi award for Raviteja as the best actor.
Both of them are planning to do another film soon, says the buzz in film nagar. Puri Jagannadh who is currently busy in promoting his Bollywood film Bbuddah will soon start ‘The Businessman’ with Mahesh in the lead. After that Puri will do a film with Raviteja, who is right now engaged with Gunasekhar’s Nippu. Ravi and Puri combo will definitely raise so many expectations and lets hope Puri gives the actor a new dimension and a much deserved break from the monotony.
