Gautam Vasudev Menon is doing a straight Telugu film with actor Ram as the lead. The movie has started its shooting in Chennai. Earlier there were rumors that Ram has walked out of this film it was supposed to be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. It is believed that Suresh didn’t settle Ram’s remuneration in time for kandireega.
But now the movie is back on track with out Bellamkonda. Samatha is the female lead and AR Rahman composes music to this yet to be titled movie. it is a youthful romantic entertainer in which Ram plays 21-year-old an engineering student, while Samantha plays Nithya, a 20-year-old psychology student.
Gautham producing this movie under Photon Kathas Production. He is making this movie simultaneously in Tamil with Jiva and Samantha in the lead roles. 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' is the title for Tamil version.
