Trisha and Genelia have been working in Telugu films for so many years and they haven’t taken the membership in Movie Artists Association (MAA) yet. There are many other actresses that are not the members of MAA but happily doing films in Telugu.In other film industries registering their names in the artists association is a must. But in Tollywood no one really bothers about it and the actresses take it very light. Imagine seniors like Trisha and Genelia not in MAA members list!
Finally, MAA woke up from sleep and sent an ultimatum that all the non members should take the membership in MAA by October 1st. Or else they wouldn’t get any support from the film industry.
